This is so because rewards encourage and motivate employees to work hard. When employees are motivated to work hard, they make your organization extremely productive. No doubt, these feelings of motivation and encouragement and everything that is happy doesn’t only come with handsome pay. It comes with recognition and rewards.

Think about it, just a “Hey! You did a great job yesterday,” is enough from your boss to cheer you up. Then, it is easier to get through the day.

However, here, it is essential to note that a rewards program which is not designed carefully can inhibit the employee’s ability to innovatively function.
